The Icelandic sky bikecap is named after my nostalgia with living in Iceland from the age of 9 to 18. You would love the various colors of the sky! The fish leather in this hat is tanned in Iceland, too.

Note: This type of leather is no longer being produced by the Icelandic tannery. It’s one of a kind. I made it from ‘remnants’ produced from making fish leather helmets. So it’s truly sustainable and eco!

Most of this hat is hand-stitched, except for the visor, which is machine stitched. Breathable stretch silk lining with an adjustable drawstring cotton/rayon grosgrain ribbon sweatband inside.

Asymmetrical visor measures 1" wide on the left side and 2" wide on the right. It measures 8" wide. The head size lands just above the ears and fits 22-22 1/2" in circumference, so it runs on the shallow side. It can be made smaller, but not larger in size.

This bike cap can even be worn underneath a bicycle helmet!
