Hand blocked and hand stitched of Nile Perch leather with a vintage abalone shell buckle. Note: This type of leather is no longer being produced by the Icelandic tannery.

The Nile Perch fish is harvested for food. The skin is a by-product and would have ended up in a landfill. The fish were swimming in Lake Victoria in Africa, pre-tanned and then shipped to northern Iceland to finish the tanning process at Nordic Fish Leather.

Irregularities may occur with the fish scales, this is totally normal, as no two fish are exactly alike!

Can be worn frontwards or backwards.

Inside is an adjustable grosgrain ribbon to protect the hat from your makeup and sweat, along with a breathable stretch silk lining.

Size of your head can be 22 1/2" to 23".

Can be worn underneath a bicycle or motorcycle helmet to protect your hair.
